Cardiff Aviation Limited: We’re in a holding pattern.
Cardiff Aviation Limited Cardiff Aviation Limited specialises in heavy maintenance of Airbus and Boeing commercial aircraft, and is based at St Athan Aerospace Enterprise Zone in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, where it operates from 132,000 square feet of fully-equipped hangar space and workshops, meaning the business can address virtually any planned or unscheduled engineering or maintenance challenge, project or issue.
As well as maintenance of airliners and other large aircraft for several major and independent airlines, Cardiff Aviation will have facilities to complete the full range of ancillary aircraft maintenance activities for commercial, business and specialist aircraft, including storage and maintenance, interior and exterior refurbishment, technical and flight training, and has the expertise and approvals to certify aircraft from many jurisdictions, including the USA.
The man behind Cardiff Aviation is Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of rock band Iron Maiden, of course, but also a commercial airline pilot and established aviation entrepreneur. Bruce is joined in this venture by experienced aviation entrepreneurial resource and investment, and has the strong facilitation support of the Welsh Government.
